Fayed Mustafa, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia, said that Israel continued building settlements on Palestinian territory, despite its expression of readiness for peace talks. Mustafa assured that legal solutions were ready and only needed the political will of Israel.

The ambassador reminded that the EU will start investigations into Israeli settlement construction on January 1. Palestinian products will get permission for sales in the EU and Palestinians will visit the European Union.

Mustafa urged the world to form a common approach to the problem of Israeli settlements. Israel was trying to persuade the EU to cancel its decisions. He expressed hope that negotiations with Russia would be successful.
