Explosion hits Makhachkala

An explosion hit the Dagestani capital of Makhachkala on Wednesday, the republic's interior ministry says in a statement. 

The explosion took place near a spirits store in downtown Makhachkala. According to preliminary data, ten people were injured as a result of the incident. No further details have been reported.
