Baku quits bid to host Summer International University Sports

Baku has quit the bid to host the 2019 Summer International University Sports, leaving Brasilia and Budapest as the only competitors, 1news.az reports.

Azerbaijan will focus on the 2015 European Games, 2016 World Chess Olympiad, 2017 Islamabad.

The University Games in Kazan last year saw over 10,000 athletes and had problems with accommodation and transportation.
