Kuban FC to pay 500,000 ruble-fine for flag-burning fans

The Committee for Control and Discipline of the Russian Football Union said yesterday that the Kuban FC was fined for 500,000 over an incident in which one of its fans burned the flag of Dagestan at the Kuban vs. Anzhi Russian Premier League match.

The football club was also fined for 50,000 rubles for insults and fireworks coming from spectators.

The flag-burner was punished on October 30.
