Trains will be able to reach the maximum speed of 100 km per hour in several sections of the Baku-Tbilsi-Kars railroad, which will make the trasportation process much quicker, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Transports Musa Panakhov says.

The Kars–Tbilisi–Baku railroad is a regional rail link project to directly connect Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The project was originally to be completed by 2010, was previously delayed to 2013,] but as of August 2013 is scheduled for completion by 2014.
