Turkish lawmaker says Turkey should not be in a hurry to join Customs Union

Turkish lawmaker Sinan Ogan says Turkey should not be in a hurry to join the Customs Union  of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, but should rather consider all the details of the project.

According to the member of the Turkish Parliament, the country has already made this mistake once, while joining the common customs space of the European Union.

"Turkey has become a member of the common customs space, but if European products can been delivered to Turkey without any restrictions, we cannot deliver our product to the European market that easily," he explains.
