Over half of Dagestani universities may lose licenses

Dagestani prosecutors have initiated the nullification of licenses of 34 private higher education centers and their branches, RIA Novosti reports.The Dagestani authorities had announced plans to reduce the number of university branches from 56 to 7 as a response to their low educational standards.According to the inspectors, none of the 34 universities checked had the rooms or literature needed for studies.
