Georgia may become EU associate member in 2014

Georgia may become an associate member of the European Union in 2014, Lithuanian parliamentary speaker says. 

Following her meeting with her Georgian counterpart David Usupashvili, Loreta Graužinienė said that the EU and Georgia may sign the associate membership and free trade agreement next year. 

The Lithuanian speaker also praised consensus reached by Georgian political parties over the European integration, ITAR-TASS reports.
