20 charged over recent riot in Armenia

Twenty people have been charged over the recent riot in the Armenian capital of Yerevan. Among them is the leader of the Tsegakron party, Shanta Arutyunyan.

The incident occured in downtown Yerevan on Wednesday. 38 people were detained as a result of the riot. Several police officers were injured.
