Georgian president vows to grant citizenship fast

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has promised to grant citizenship faster to everyone denied at the Justice Ministry, Georgia Online reports.

The president presented a list of documents needed for citizenship yesterday:

- an application for citizenship;

- a copy of the passport of another state

- a copy of the birth certificate (for under-aged).

The documents are handed by parents or fiduciaries. Children born abroad need a translated document. Children aged 14-18 need to give personal agreement.
