Turkish opposition wants Hagia Sophia to become mosque again

Yusuf Halacoglu, Deputy Chairman of the National Movement Party of Turkey and member of the parliament, wants Hagia Sophia to be transformed from a museum back to a mosque, CNN Turk reports.

An official message with the initiative was sent to the Turkish parliament. The Great Union Party had proposed the same action earlier.
