Ship full of arms sailing from Ukraine to Syria detained in Greece

The coastal guard of Greece has detained a ship Nour M. under the flag of Sierra Leone in the Aegean Sea. 20,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles and a large quantity of explosives and ammunition was found on board.

The end point of the route of the ship which departed from Ukraine was the capital of Libya, Tripoli. The ship was also supposed to stop in Turkey and Syria. The Turkish captain and seven crew members, most of them Ukrainian citizens have been detained.
