Nursultan Nazarbaev meets with Vagit Alekperov

The meeting between the Presiden of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev and the President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov took place today on the sidelines of the 10th Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan which took place in Yekaterinburg, the press service of the head of the state reports.

Nazarbaev and Alekperov discussed oil and gas industry and aspects of the implementation of projects in the petrochemical field in Kazakhstan, Trend reports.

THe Russian oil company has bene in Kazakhstan since 1995. The country is involved in seven mining projects and in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
