Iran starts Sayyad-2 missile production

Iranian Defense Minister Hussein Degham has attended the ceremony of the launch of Sayyad-2 missile production in Iran, Trend reports.Sayyad-2 is a modernized version of the Sayyad-1 missile. It uses solid propellant. The new missile is based on the S-75 Russian analogue. Sayyad-2 is a two-stage missile capable of hitting all types of jets, including bombers, at medium and high altitude. The missile carries warheads weighing 200kg at a speed of 1200m/sec.
