Iran says it will soon be able to prove its nuclear project is peaceful

The head of the Iranian Nuclear Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, says the Islamic Republic will soon take all technical and legal steps necessary to prove that its nuclear programme has no military component.

Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have recently drafted a cooperation road map. According to the plan, Iran will allow an international monitoring team to visit its major nuclear sites.
