Ex-police officer killed in Dagestan’s Khasavyurt

Unidentified assailants shot dead Captain Gaji Umakhanov, an ex-police officer and head of an Operational Investigative Group, in Khasavyurt (Dagestan) last night, RIA Novosti reports.The ex-officer was a bodyguard of the leader of the Kumyk movement headed by Yusup Ajiyev.
