Militant leader killed in Dagestan

Magomed Abakar, nicknamed Pizza Maga, born in 1965, leader of the Buynakskaya Militant group, was identified as the militant killed in a shootout with the police in the Dagestani capital of Makhachkala last night, ITAR-TASS reports.The police stopped the militant’s car for inspection. Abakar opened fire at officers and was killed with counter-fire. Two other militants escaped the scene. A police officer was wounded.
