Fires at three markets in Almaty put out

Fires broke out at the markets of Zhana Kulager, Aral and Yevrazia in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan at 5.59 am yesterday. The fire was localized at 11.08 am and put out at 12.00 am, RIA Novosti reports.A group from the Ministry for Emergencies is investigating the causes of the fire under supervision of Vice Prime Minister Zhanbolat Smailov. 353 people and 54 vehicles were mobilized to put the fire out. About 3800 square meters were on fire. No injuries have been reported.Authorities of the Kulager market were ordered to fix problems with fire security. A lawsuit to halt operation of the market was sent to the specialized inter-district economic court of Almaty on November 11.
