Iran blames Israel for Beirut blasts

At least 23 people died and about 150 were injured in the two blasts near the Iranian Embassy in Beirut triggered by a suicide bomber in a car today, Reuters reports.Marziye Afham, spokeswoman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, called the terrorist attack ‘an inhuman crime’ and said that Israel and its allies were behind the tragedy.The area of incident is located in the southern part of Beirut, notable for the presence of Hezbollah. 16 people were killed by a blast there in mid-August 2013.
