Russia to establish joint missile defense shield with Armenia and Kazakhstan, Putin says

Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that Russia was going to establish a joint missile defense shield with Armenia and Kazakhstan as well as strengthen the missile defense system that it already has with Belarus. 

According to the Russian president, the project will enhance mutual security and improve stability in the region in general.
