Russia and Georgia round up progress in 2013
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and Georgian Special Envoy for Russia Zurab Abashidze met in Prague yesterday, Trend reports.
Karasin said that hostile relations between the two states had ended, while constructive dialogue, economic and social relations, transportation links had been restored. He noted that Georgian products had returned to the Russian market.
Abashidze emphasized that the new Georgian authorities wanted to bring relations with Russia to a new level.
Karasin and Abashidze had their first meeting in Geneva on December 14, 2012. The talks continued in Prague and happen once every 2-3 months.
