Pollution in Caspian Sea drops dramatically

Azerbaijani Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources Guseynguli Bagirov said that pollution in the Caspian Sea had dropped many tens-fold, Trend reports.He noted that poorly-conserved oil wells were the main source of pollution in the sea, including the Neft Daslari area. The minister added that minor organizations put Sumgayit on the list of polluted cities, although it had improved in recent years.
