New prime minister appointed in Tajkistan

A new prime minister has been appointed in the former Soviet republic of Tajikistan. Former head of the cabinet Akil Akilov has been fired by President Emomali Rakhmon.

Kokhir Rasulzodu is now set to serve as the country's prime minister.
