Iran develops a UAV with vertical takeoff and landing

Engineers of the Technology Center of Sharif University of Technology in Iran have created an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with vertical take-off and landing, which has more features than the existing models, according to Iranian news agency IRNA.

 

According to the report, the new UAV can operate in various climatic conditions and transfer images with higher resolution, Trend reports.

 

Looking back, the first Iranian UAV "Karrar" ("Forward ") was presented on August 23, 2010. The first Iranian medium-altitude UAV with long-endurance, "Shahed- 29" ("Witness -129"), was introduced in September 2012. This sample was able to conduct combat operations and exploration within 24 hours .
