Anti-Iranian embargo aggravated economic ties with Turkey

Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Alirza Bikdeli said that the embargo against Iran had negative impact on economic relations with Ankara, Trend reports.

Turkey and Iran could have had a trade turnover of $30 billion, if it were not for the embargo. Iran lost $8 billion of trade operations.

The ambassador noted that the Turkish-Iranian trade turnover had totaled $22 billion in 2012.
