US and Georgia to enhance ties

The United States and the former Soviet republic of Georgia are going to enhance mutual ties. This was announced today after the meeting of new Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and US Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland.

The US ambassador congratulated the prime minister on his appointment, while Garibashvili thanked the US envoy for his country's support.
