What is preventing a settlement of the Palestinian problem?

The head of the Arab League office in the Russian Federation, Jalal Mashta, commented on reasons for the Palestinian problem and what is preventing its settlement. On November 18th Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu urged the leader of the Palestinian National Autonomy, Mahmud Abbas, to recognize the historic right of the Jewish people to self-identification on the Israeli land. The Palestinian problem remains unsettled because the Palestinian-Israeli peaceful negotiations are deadlocked.
