Georgia and EU initial association agreement

Georgia and the EU have initialed an association agreement within the framework of the Eastern Partnership summit hosted by Vilnius on Nocember 28-29, News Georgia reports.The deal was signed by Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Georgian Deputy Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development Mikhail Jangelidze, Managing Director of Europe and Central Asia Department Gunnar Wiegand, Head of the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission Philippe Cuisson.Several hours were spent to initial over 1,000 pages of the document. The official ceremony of initialing will take place on November 29. Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze will also initial the document.
