Expelled medical college students from Kislovodsk to continue their studies in Kabardino-Balkaria

The Medical College of Nalchik of the Kabardino-Balkaria State University has expressed its readiness to enroll 18 students who had been expelled from a medical college in Kislovodsk for dancing lezginka.

 

The students danced lezginka, shouting and whistling near a cafe in Kislovodsk and were expelled because of that. All the expelled students are Meskhetian Turks, ITAR-TASS reports.

 

Currently 13.8 thousand Meskhetian Turks live in Kabardino-Balkaria. According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Kabardino-Balkaria, this year more than 60% of the Meskhetian Turks entered higher education institutes in Russia and Turkey.
