Sochi-2014 investment coins released

The Bank of Russia has released the Sochi-2014 investments coins: a silver coin worth 3 rubles and golden coins worth 50 and 100 rubles, RIA Novosti reports.

The three kinds of coins are round and have the mascot of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games depicted, the hare. 300,000 silver and 50-ruble gold coins were minted. 100,000 golden coins worth 100 rubles were minted. They will be available for sale in the second half of December.

The Central Bank released 10 million coins worth 25 rubles, depicting two mascots and logo of the 11th Winter Paralympic Games.

The coins can be used for any payments with no limitations.
