Rostov Region to host Caucasus Our Common Home Festival

Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Igor Guskov said that the region will host the Caucasus Our Common Home Festival on December 9-13, Yuga.ru reports.

Over 1000 students from universities of Russia, Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts, CIS and other countries will arrive for the festival. The goal of the festival is to strengthen friendship and good-neighbour relations of peoples of the Caucasus, enrich cultural and sports achievements, stimulate patriotism, expand cultural ties among young people, demonstrate students’ art achievements.

The framework of the festival consists of concerts and sports competitions, choreographic performances, KVN, theater performances. A conference entitled ‘Russian integrity in friendship of peoples.’ Will be organized.

The festival will open at the Academic Dram Theater of M. Gorky. It will be concluded with a gala concert at the Rostov State Music Theater.
