Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers meet in Kiev

Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Nalbandian met in Kiev yesterday, Armenia Today reports.

Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov, Jacques Faure and James Warlick and Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk took part in the talks.

Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan met in Vienna on November 19. The foreign ministers and OSCE co-chairs discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process in the context of the presidential talks. The co-chairs said that they will visit the region in the near future.

The ministers noted the importance of the co-chairs as part of the negotiation process and thanked them for their peace efforts.
