SOCAR: no new partners to join TANAP

A board member of the Petrochemical Holding Petkim, the head of SOCAR Turkey Enerji, Kenan Yavuz, said today at a press conference held in the framework of the Caspian forum that SOCAR is not negotiating with any new companies on participation in the TANAP pipeline project.According to preliminary data, partners in the Shah Deniz project intend to distribute the 29% stake in TANAP as follows: Statoil and BP - 12%, Total - 5%.A board member of the Petrochemical Holding Petkim, the head of SOCAR Turkey Enerji, Kenan Yavuz, said today at a press conference held in the framework of the Caspian forum that SOCAR is not negotiating with any new companies on participation in the TANAP pipeline project.
According to preliminary data, partners in the Shah Deniz project intend to distribute the 29% stake in TANAP as follows: Statoil and BP - 12%, Total - 5%.

 

"There can be no question of competition, as the market is large and the demand for gas is high," Yavuz commented on the project.
