EU to work on problems of eco-migration in South Caucasus

The EU has outlined the following problems related to eco-migration in the South Caucasus: insufficient housing, water and irrigation, overflow of drainage, isolation of schools, work and medical centers, News.am reports.South Caucasus states are realizing a project called ‘Eco-migration: dialogue and cooperation in South Caucasus states for a better life’ under financial assistance of the EU to reform ecomigration, strengthen the potential of civil societies and expand national and regional dialogue.The local committee for the issue held its first session in Armenia in November. Attendants of the talks presented the missions, goals and actions to achieve them. They also discuss eco-migration in Armenia.
