Dagestan to mark 90th anniversary of sport in the republic

Dagestan will mark the 90th anniversary of federal and territorial executive structures specialized in physical education and sports, said Deputy Minister for Physical Education and Sports of Dagestan Zaynala Salautdinova, RIA Novosti reports.Festivals, Spartakiads will be organized. Wrestling and judo competitions will be held in December.The deputy minister said that Dagestan was developing the federal purpose program for development of physical education and sports in 2006-2015 and the subprogram for development of football in 2008-2015. Subsidies from the federal budget were granted for two football fields. They will be built in the Shamilsky and Akhtynsky Districts in Q1 and Q2 2014.Dagestan has been part of the federal purpose program since 2010. It has built the Sports Palace named after Ali Aliyev in Kaspiysk and two sports facilities in the Kaytagsky and Khunzakhsky Districts.
