Restored Arshin Mal Alan film presented in Baku

The Heydar Aliyev Center presented the Arshin Mal Alan film converted into a color version. The screening was preceded by a video of Azerbaijani National Leader Heydar Aliyev made in 2001, 1news.az reports.The black and white film was made in 1945, based on the opera of Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibekov. The film was director of Rza Tahmasibov and Nikolai Leshchenko. Rashid Beybutov, Leyla Bedirbeyli, Munevver Kelenterli, Lutfali Abdullayev starred in the film.The color version of the film was produced in Hollywood. The project took 9 months. 157 specialists from Asia, Europe and America, including Oscar winners. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation initiated the conversion of the film in December 2012. Authorities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and AtaHolding took part in the process.
