Part of West Georgia left without light

In the Samegrelo – Zemo region of Svanetia (Western Georgia ) due to weather conditions power lines were damaged, causing about 40 thousand subscribers to be left without electricity, the company "Energo- Pro Georgia"reports.

In the Zugdidi municipality 14 villages are completely without power, and power is supplied with interruptions in the city of Zugdidi.

Restoration work began in the region in the morning, and the subscribers will get power as the aftermath of the accident is eliminated, the head of Public Relations Office of the Western "Energo- Pro Georgia" bureau Eki Uridia said.

It should be noted that only after two-day blackout tonight the electricity supply to Adjaria was restored.
