Armenian parliament sets budget for 2014

70 Armenian MPs have voted for and 40 against the budget for 2014, ARKA reports.The Republican Party and Orinats Yerkir approved the budget. The Heritage Party, Armenian National Congress, Dashnaktsutyun and Prosperous Armenia voted against it. One MP abstained.The budget of 2014 will have an income of 1.135 trillion drams, expenses of 1.245 trillion drams. Tax income will increase by 99.2 billion drams (10%) in 2014 and reached 1.093 trillion drams.The budget deficit will total 110 billion drams (2.3% of the GDP). The deficit this year totals 8.6%.The state budget of 2014 has a GDP growth of 5.2%, average inflation rate of 5.5%, 12-month inflation of 4.5%, deflation index of the GDP of 4.3%.1000 drams = $2.46.
