Israelis remember Heydar Aliyev

By Peter Lyukimson, Israel, exclusively for Vestnik KavkazaHundreds of Israelis visited the Azerbaijani Cultural Center of the Azerbaijan-Israel Association (AzIs) to mark the 10th anniversary of Azerbaijani National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s death.AzIs Director General Lev Spivak granted a book published by Vestnik Kavkaza in Moscow to the Azerbaijani Cultural Center for the 90th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev. The book is entitled ‘Going Ahead’ and describes the recollections of presidents, heads of governments, foreign ministers, state leaders and notable Azerbaijani figures.AzIs Director Yegyan Salman thanked him for the gift and said that it was one of the most valuable works at the national library of the Cultural Center.
