Tehran and Beijing are holding talks on establishing a joint bank, head of the Sino-Iranian Chamber of Commerce Assadola Asgarallodi announced.

"At the moment we are holding consultations on this with the Iranian Central Bank," Trend quotes him.

 

If they turn out to be successful, then a set of Iranian companies will acquire shares in Chinese banks, allowing Iran in the future to create a joint credit organisation.

 

"We plan to develop our economic ties with China and are interested in long-term relations with this country," Asgarallodi underlined.
