First batch of UN humanitarian aid sent to Syria

The first plane with UN humanitarian aid has left Iraq for Syria, Khaleej Times reports.

Previously, the flight had been delayed for several days due to bad weather conditions.

400 tons of food will be delivered to Al Qamishli, the representative of the UN World Food Programme, Abeer Etefa said, Gazeta reports.
