Militant Khandokhov was trained to attack law enforcers

Members of the gang killed in the Elbrussky District of Kabardino-Balkaria were planning attacks on law enforcers, RIA Novosti reports.The gang was responsible for over 20 terrorist attacks, including the murders of two tourists in the Jily-Su Gorge, chieftain of the Tersko-Malkinsky Cossack Community, FSB officers in the Krasnodar Territory in 2010, a couple from the Neytrinnaya Observatory of the RAS in 2011, and disruption of communication systems and the Elbrus cableway.The law enforcers found large quantities of weapons and ammunition in the basement of the house they occupied. It also contained two bombs equivalent to 20 and 25 kg. One officer was injured during the operation.Four militants, including militant leader Arsen Khandokhov, were killed in Bylym (Elbrussky District, Kabardino-Balkaria).
