Russia to allocate ships to escort Syrian chemical weapons

Russia is ready to allocate its naval ships to escort Syria's chemical weapons, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We will be ready to provide ships of the Russian navy to escort the ships with toxic substances to ensure the safety of this operation," RIA Novosti quotes Lavrov as saying.
