Russia forbids Armenia to resell its gas to other states

Armenian Minister for Energy Armen Movsisyan said today that customs-free gas and petroleum will be shopped from Russia according to a quota system.The statement was made at talks on an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation between the Armenian and Russian governments in exports of gas, petroleum and unprocessed diamonds.Armenia will give Russia reports on annual gas and petroleum consumption. Russia will use the data to form quotas for customs-free trade. Armenia will not be allowed to resell cheap Russian energy resources to other states.
