Angela Merkel received 462 out of 631 parliamentary votes today and was re-elected as the German Chancellor, Spiegel reports.The leader of the Christian Democratic Union will need to receive a mandate from President Joachim Gauck and form a new government.Sigmar Gabriel, leader of the Social Democratic Party, will be the Vice Chancellor. A member of his party will become the minister for economy and energy.
