Armenia and Iran to expand cooperation
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan arrived in Iran on December 15. He was invited by Ibragim Rahimpur, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Oceania and the CIS, for political consultations, First Armenian Informative reports.
Kocharyan met Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. The latter said that Iran and Armenia had good-neighbourly relations and mutually-beneficial cooperation, with potential for further development.
Zarif noted in the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that conflict needed peaceful solutions, according to international law.
The sides discussed bilateral relations in the political, economic and other spheres.
