Russian Migration Service comments on residency terms for foreigners

Zalina Kornilova, spokeswoman of the Russian Federal Migration Service, said that foreigners visiting Russia with temporary residency permits, work permits and patents will be allowed to stay in the country without visas for over 90 days, RIA Novosti reports.According to the bill passed by the parliament in the first reading, foreigners entering Russia legally without visas may stay for 90 days in every half a year. About 10% of foreigners in the country leave to legalize their status.
