Turkmen CEC rounds up parliamentary polls

The Democratic Party won 47 parliamentary seats, the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs won 14, the Organization of Trade Unions 33, the Union of Women of Turkmenistan 16, the Youth Organization named after Makhtumkuli 8 and various groups of citizens 7.
Members of the Russian, Kazakh and Uzbek communities of Turkmenistan were among the candidates that became members of parliament.
