Ingush leader rounds up 2013

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov rounded up achievements of 2013 in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza. He said that the republic accomplished its goals, including reduction of unemployment. The gross regional product exceeded the predicted 29-31 billion rubles and reached 34 billion rubles.

Yevkurov noted that the Russian Ministry for Regional Development offered bonuses of about 200 million rubles, depending on progress of governors.

Commenting on crime, the Ingush leader said that the republic had positive trends in all aspects. Terrorism-related crime dropped by 57% Not a single terrorist act happened in 2013. Yevkurov explained that it was achieved by well-organized work of law enforcers. He added that security services were cooperating with local autonomies. The adapting commission and municipalities were operating efficiently, concluded the Ingush leader.
