Duke Vladimir monument to be unveiled in Astrakhan

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Head of its office in Russia, will unveil a monument to St. Duke Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, the Evangelizer of Russia, in Astrakhan today.The monument was built by the Foundation. Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia, awarded Aliyeva with the 3rd-rank Order of Duchess Olga, Equal-to-the-Apostles.Aliyeva’s delegation went to Astrakhan this morning. It will then be moved to Volgograd for the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Park today.
